Hi, the user preferences pane says that I have used 236 Gb of disk space and has paused some current jobs.  I do not have any saved histories and only have a current unnamed history with 23 Gb.  All hidden and deleted files from previous analyses have been purged.  So there seem to be datasets still being counted towards my quota but I can't find any of them.  How do I find and delete these files?  I have read the documentation on managing datasets and followed the advice but still cannot find these files.  Thanks, Nick

Hi,

I believe I found your account at http://usegalaxy.org and recalculated the disc usage. It now matches up with the reported usage. Please take a look now and let us know if there are any more problems.

Apologies for the trouble! This occurs sometimes and we are tracking down how to prevent it entirely.

Hi Jen,  thanks for updating the usage.  The usage bar however still shows I am using 94%.  Helpfully that will sync eventually. Galaxy is a great tool.  Thanks, Nick

That should have happened already (a short delay is Ok, an hour is a bit long). Let me check.

Maybe refresh Galaxy in your browser? When I examine your account, usage is at 9%. User > Preferences reports this:

"You are using 23.5 GB of disk space in this Galaxy instance."

It could be that I am accessing a different account, but the user name and other numbers match up well. Send us an email at galaxy-bugs@lists.galaxyproject.org from the account in use, along with a link to this post, if there is still a problem.
