Hi, my job was terminated because of disk quota exceeded. The history "dataset" shows 184GB but it should be around 65GB. I permanently deleted files but they are still shown (although as deleted) and I guess still account to the disk quote. Log out and log in did not help. Can you tell me what to do? Thanks a lot!

Kind regards Stefanie

Hello,

There are two active histories in your account and the total combined size is ~ 270 GB. The account quota size at https://usegalaxy.org is 250 GB. Go to the History menu (gear icon) > Saved Histories view to see all of your account's data.

If your project is academic researched based, we can sometimes offer a temporary account quota size increase. Please send us an email at galaxy-bugs@lists.galaxyproject.org from your account's email address, briefly explain your project/goals, and our team will review the request. Details here: https://galaxyproject.org/support/account-quotas/#i-purged-but-still-need-more-space-

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team

Hi,

yes, I do have two histories and my question only regards to history "Dataset". This history disk quota size is higher as I would expect. There are 12 *.fa.gz sequencing files - in total about 63GB. Additionally, I have annotation files (6 files) and reference genome files (3 files) with a total of 1.86GB and a list. So I would expect to have about 65GB in my history "Dataset". But it shows 184GB and that´s why I exceed my disk quota size. All deleted files I deleted permanently but I guess these deleted files still account to the disk quota size. How can I get rid of these files?

Kind regards Stefanie
