Hello,

When you state "using ip address 129.114.60.60 / 129.114.60.56 port 2200" is this from the connection log? The actual URL entered for host should be usegalaxy.org.

For username, this is your Galaxy account email address, correct? (your short "public name" will not work with FTP)

When connecting, does the prompt for the security certificate pop-up? And you accepted it? Or does the connection fail before that is done?

After checking the above and making necessary changes and trying again, and is should fail, what is the exact error? Also please specify if you are you using Filezilla on a MAC (OSX) or PC (windows)? Have you checked with your local admin to determine if a firewall at your site could be a factor?

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team

To add to this, the port should be 21 for Explicit FTPS and 990 for Implicit FTPS.
