I went over capacity in my Galaxy stored files. My jobs were then paused and I got a message that I am over capacity. I have permanently deleted a bunch of files, and checked for hidden files, to bring the storage to below 200GB. I still get the over-capacity message, and my usage is still at 100%. I even waited overnight to see if the system needs time to reset, but it's still "over capacity", even though my total "size on disk" is less than 200GB. How do I reset this message?

Hello,

Sorry that you are having issues with locating all data. Please see this wiki & video for exact instructions about how to locate datasets associated with an account. In particular, make sure to look at your "deleted" histories, to ensure are permanently deleted. The most common cause of this issue is one or two deleted histories that are overlooked first pass.

If you continue to have problems after a second review, please send an email to galaxy-bugs@bx.psu.edu that includes your Galaxy account's email address (the one you use to log in) and a link to this post (so we can track). We can help.

You don't need to post your email here and should never share your password, via email or otherwise, ever. We'll never ask for it.

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team
