Question: Barcode limit in "Barcode Splitter" tool

Hello, 

I was wondering what is the barcode limit to be run in the "Barcode splitter" tool.

I have successfully run it 50 barcodes but I have libraries with 1000s of barcodes and an error message like this came up.

Error: failed to create output file (/galaxy/main/jobdir/008/270/8270026/dataset_9798426_files/libraryfasta_fa__138172.txt)

I am not aware of any specific limit, but the job may simply be running out of memory. Try using less barcodes in one single run. You can re-run with more on the results that are not recognized/sorted by the prior runs.
