Hi, I would like to map reads against genome reference but my genome of interest is not listed. Is it possible to add the genome of triticum aestivum in the list?

Thanks,

Hello,

I am also interested in the addition of a wheat reference genome. From what I understand, genome additions can be requested here:

https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/issues/1470

However, if you look at the thread, Triticum aestivum is already listed as being under review (since April 2016), hopefully it will eventually be added.

For now, it seems the only option is to upload it as a custom genome.

Regards

Correct, wheat and several other genomes, in particular requested plant genomes, have not been indexed yet. The process to add new indexes is undergoing some changes but we expect to get this going again soon. All updates will be recorded on that ticket.

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
