What I have seen in the tutorials is that you can see the FreeBayes results in IGV but only after selecting the reference genome from the option database when it has a question mark in your history results. But when I do that my reference genome is not in the list and I cannot select it from History, as I would do it with the rest of tools, even when I have FTP the reference genome. Is there a way to include it in the list of database/build so I can change the edit the database/build from the option Edit Dataset Attributes. (specifically minute 02:27 to 02:33)

Your custom genome can be promoted to a custom build. This places it in the genome/builds list where it can be assigned as a database.
