Dear Galaxy Team,

I am having issues accessing my Galaxy account where I have uploaded some very important data and urgently request your help to solve this ASAP. I am writing papers for publication and urgently need to download my data from my account. Could you please please help with this??

My account username is: sophisticated_individual@live.co.uk

Also I am no longer able to access this live account so the new login details would have to be sent to my alternative email address: ucbtmaf@ucl.ac.uk

I can answer any security questions and I can also tell you what sort of files are on the account.

I am depending on this so could you please help as soon as possible?

Many thanks in advance,

Mohsin Khan

I'm pretty sure my password was: 7M786pak

However, my galaxy account was suspended at some point and now upon logging in, it says "invalid password". Could you please check if this password is associated with my account?

Is there anybody that I can talk to over the phone or skype? This is extremely urgent and I really need some help with this. There are a bunch of fastq files on there which I need access to as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance.

Mohsin

Very dangerous to post your password I suppose...

Not really seeing as the password is no longer valid.

Can you talk to the live.co.uk email folks and perhaps regain access to that?

Hi Dannon,

I've sent them an email regarding this but I haven't heard from them yet. I really hope this problem is solved soon.

We don't have any reason to trust the connection of your email with the account you are writing about (other than your internet word). Therefore we cannot just give up some user's data because you say it is yours.

Dear Mohsin,

I have discussed this with the Galaxy Team and this is the outcome:

We don't have any reason to trust the connection of your email with the account you are writing about (other than your internet word). Therefore we cannot just give up some user's data because you say it is yours.
