Hello Jen from the galaxy team,

Thank you for your reply, however its not very helpful as, I have had undertaken the steps/actions mentioned by you before writing this post.

I hope you will still be able to help me. I have read the documentation mentioned here: https://galaxyproject.org/support/#troubleshooting

Regards

You logged in and out already?

Just to double check - this is your account at http://usegalaxy.org? The quota is "Usage is unchanged at 219.7 GB" even with an administrator recalculation (done just now).

This means that there is data that is not permanently deleted. I am looking at your account directly, but you can check for this as well.

More feedback after review. Thanks! Jen

There are many histories that are deleted but not permemently deleted. How to check is in the link above.

The short answer is to go to "Saved Histories", use "Advanced search", and "set status" > "all. You'll then see the all of your histories where they can be permanently deleted/purged. You have a many, so be sure to go through all tabs.

Try permanently deleting the entire histories that are marked as only "deleted" in the Saved Histories view. That is where the majority of your data is.

You can use the checkboxes and buttons at the bottom of the page (in the center panel) or use the pull-down menu per history in that view. Both will work.

Note: when purging multiple large histories at once, a "grid refresh" warning may come up. Just refresh the browser window to move away from that. The data is still purged, "grid refresh" is just a user-interface display issue when much data changes status at the same time.

Once purged, the account quota should update. But you can always log out then in again after that to double check everything is current after deleting so much data.

Hello,

Log out of Galaxy then log back in again to reset account quota. If it does not change, then all data was not actually permanently deleted (purged).

Please see: https://galaxyproject.org/support/#troubleshooting

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
