I exceeded my disck quota by >100 GB after attempting to map my dog Illumina sequence reads to canFam3 using BWA. Deleting the 2 groomed files from my account will leave me still with at least 250GB over my disk limit. Does this mean that I have to abandon this job or I could at least download the mapped file that drove my quota over the limit and use it outside Galaxy? My estimate is that the mapping added ~260 GB to my quota. How can I tell if the mapped file is complete or partial? I am a novice Galaxy user and would greatly appreciate any help.

Hello,

Partially run datasets in an error state are lost. If you can remove enough disk to get under quota enough to leave room for the results, then paused datasets can be resumed.

If the job completed successfully, then you can download it - it will be complete. One BWA job resulting in 250G of data results seems a bit large. However, for any dataset, the info page states the actual size.

To make room (now or later), review all of the deleted and hidden datasets in your existing history and all others in your account. (History menu -> Saved Histories). Look under Advanced search and select status "all".
