I am trying to follow the tutorial called "Manipulating NGS data with Galaxy", i have been able to follow up until the multiQC step. I have been able to get a green history from this task. However, I am unable to see the "eye" icon on the "stats" dataset. I just see 3 items associated with the data set "fastqc, general stats, and sources" is there something I am doing incorrectly? Or is this a premium option or something similar?

thank you for any help

Are you working at Galaxy Main https://usegalaxy.org? If so, this problem has been noticed before but I haven't checked it after the recent updates. Please state where you are working, and meanwhile, I'll rerun the test. This was a display problem before, and it should be an easy fix if this is still present or regression problem.

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team

Hello,

Ok, the problem is still there for MultiQC (Galaxy Version 1.5.0) as installed at Galaxy Main.

The issue has to do with the display of the 'webpage" output. We'll get this fixed. It is a server configuration issue, so if this is occurring on another server, let us know. We can explain the details of how to configure this correctly so you can share it with the admins of that other server, or so you can get this configured yourself if working at your own Galaxy.

For the "stats" output, there is no direct display for a composite dataset. The statistics are contained within the three included outputs and each displays fine from my test. This was likely your original confusion, but I wanted to test the other known item first, then confirm that the display for these were not impacted.

Thanks for reporting the problem! Jen, Galaxy team
