Hello,

I asked a question last week regarding my Trinity assembly. It would not start the run (and had been stalled for about 2 weeks). The run did complete a few days ago and I started running more programs on the data set. Today, the Trinity gave me a "tool error" and indicated that the job could not be completed. I'm confused because the job did complete a number of days ago and I was able to to run FastQC on the assembly. Can I trust the data that I currently have? Why am I getting this error? I appreciate the help!

Thanks for reporting the problem. I have a new Trinity test job running (prior was successful) and our admin has been contacted.

It could be that the PCS Bridges server was sporadically down at times.

For the immediate, rerun jobs may be the best solution. If the job completes, the results are correct. If the job errors, these are almost always either input problems (which you eliminated) or a server-side issue. Incomplete jobs will be obvious (error as a red dataset) or have empty content (green dataset with warning messages).

More feedback soon. Jen, Galaxy team

Hello,

The Trinity test job completed successfully and our administrator confirmed the server connection is active/correct with the host cluster.

Please also try a rerun and let us know if you continue to have problems.

Thanks again! Jen, Galaxy team
