Hello!

My 250 GB work space is filling up and I don't know why. I have had an old history from which I have (permanently!) deleted all files and I have deleted the history as well. My current history is at 53.4GB right now, but apparently I am already using 74% of my workspace according to the bar diagram in the upper right corner.

Have I done something wrong when I deleted the old files and is it possible they still occupy my workspace? Can the workspace be cleaned in another way?

Thanks for your help!

Christian

Hi Christian,

When you go to the 'Saved Histories' view, do you perhaps have other histories that have been deleted but not purged?   Toggle on 'advanced' search and show 'all', or 'deleted'.  Your disk usage looks correct to me.

Hi Christian, would you have time to accept Dannon's answer? The original question asker is the only one that can do this (others can only upvote good replies). This helps other users to know which Q&A have working solutions. To do this, hover around the left of the question near the thumb and book icon, a grey circle with a checkmark inside will appear. Click on it to accept. One or more answers can be accepted per question, if you ever need to do that. Thanks for your help in making the site great! Jen, Galaxy team
