Hello,

You are working here?

Browser upload of data over 2G will not work. And I do not believe that the GigaGalaxy public instance supports FTP file transfer. How much data quota each user is permitted is not noted in the site's documentation or under User -> Preferences. In theory you could load your data into a public FTP site, then load using a URL with the "Get Data -> Upload" tool, but I have not tried this myself.

So there are a few unknowns and the site is labeled as being under development. You have some choices:

  1. Try loading data by URL and find out of there is a data quota by testing.
  2. Contact the groups that support the site. I would try GigaScience directly then associated research groups. All are noted on the site's home page.
  3. Research the tools/workflows that you want to use at this site, then install these into a cloud instance of your own for actual use and work. GigaScience supports publication data/resources intended to be used this way.

Hello - Please ask this question in a new post and we can help. Once I see that I'll remove this post as it is unrelated to the original Q&A here. Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
