I have been trying to analyze data using the most recent Drosophila genome version (dm6). Despite having no problem with older data sets using the previous version (dm3) I am not able to easily visualize the data, especially using UCSC.
Using the tool to convert both BedGraphs and Wig files to bigWig files (Wig/BedGraph-to-bigWig) results in the same error:
Couldn't open /galaxy-repl/localdata/chrom/dm6.len , No such file or directory Fatal error: Matched on Error Error running wigToBigWig.
Also these datasets fail to open when I attempt to visualize them with both IGV and IGB.
My only luck has come by keeping a small portion of the data and uploading it directly to the UCSC genome browser as a Wig file, since the files are too large to be uploaded completely.
Any advice or a way around this problem would be appreciated!
This was a problem earlier that was corrected. Testing now to find out what the current issue is. More feedback soon. Jen, Galaxy team
