Question: overflow storage allowance

Dear Admin,

I once had too many big files in the current history but I have made efforts to delete a lot of them and as a results, for one day or two, things seemed to be fine, it indicated that I used only 33% of my allowance. Then, without my creating more files, it seemed to restored the status before my file deletion. And, it paused my work of using cuff merge. I tried everything I could think of but to no vail. Please help.
