Dear Galaxy Team,

Do you know if there is a problem with NGS mapping of fastqsanger files in Galaxy? I have tried to map PE reads of 20MB with different aligners, and after 2 hour I am still waiting... I have done the same procedure one day ago and it worked OK..

Any idea?

Thanks in advance, AS

Hello,

The jobs were likely queued. Have you allowed any to run for longer? Try that if not.

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team

It worked finally. It was that it took much longer than what I was expected.

Thank you, AS

When the server is busy, or a user has many jobs queued in their history, jobs can take up to a day to process (and occasionally longer). Glad this worked out for you!

See "Grey" datasets here: https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#Dataset_status_and_how_jobs_execute
