I have a local instance of Galaxy running on my laptop and I want to upload some sequence data to it. I have 8 fastq files of about 4GB each. I am trying to upload them via the data libraries. I successfully uploaded a reference sequence file of 100Mb which finished fairly quickly. I then tried uploading a fastq file. I left one 4GB file uploading over night and after ~9hrs it still hadn't uploaded. There doesn't seem to be any progress bar so I'm not sure if it was working or how far it got. Is it supposed to take this long? Is this the best way to upload the data?

Thanks,

Miles
