Hi there,

I am probably missing something obvious here. My local Galaxy TopHat does not recognize the uploaded fastq files (just sample files from library). I am able to upload using get Data and visualize the files. However, when i try to run TopHat Galaxy claims there are not fastq files available. The same files work perfectly fine on the public Galaxy server. Any thoughts?

Thanks, Claudio

Hello,

Try assigning the datatype fastqsanger to the datasets for them to be recognized by the tool form. If you are not sure if this is the proper format, this is how to double confirm or convert: https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#FASTQ_Datatype_QA

Best, Jen, Galaxy team
