I want to map an ostrich RNA-seq data with Bowtie. I want to know where can I find a genome reference for mapping and how can add to Bowtie of galaxy project. Is there a shortcut or a way to do it as quick as possible. Can I ask galaxy team to add it?

Hello,

Once you locate the reference genome of interest, upload it in .fasta format and use it as a Custom Reference genome. Full instructions including troubleshooting help for format are in our wiki here:

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team
