Question: Data manager for Bowtie for illumina (bowtie1)?

Is there a bowtie1 index builder? I cant find it in data managers? If not how I can add indexes for my build-in reference genomes?

If you can do me a favour and test this data manager, I will upload it to the Tool Shed.

I will love to try it, but I'm not so capable of installing manually data manager myself, is there a guide how to do that?

Have a look at https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Admin/Tools/DataManagers

Essentially, you need to install a data manager like a tool but than you have a special menu entry in your admin panel to run those data managers.
