Is it possible to add a novel genome in the list of genomes to map illumina reads ?
For all users that want to work with a genome not available in the built-in genome indexes for a tool.
The solution is to use a Custom Reference Genome. No wait & you control the content.

I think.... we can not... but we can upload our own set of genome is Fasta format for further workflow.
According to the Galaxy site, you need to upload a genome via the Galaxy team. YOU cannot do that by yourself.
Loading your own genome is definitely possible. Then it can be used for all analysis plus a custom data browser. This is a unique feature of Galaxy: https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#Custom_reference_genome
So how can I contact the team to add the genome that i need. Thanks a lot.
Use your target genome as a custom reference genome. Here is how: https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#Custom_reference_genome
