i deleted all old history and just loaded four files for a total of 46 GB. I can't do any analysis as the site says I am 100% full, which should be around 250GB.  why wont the site correctly reflect the actual amount of space available?

also, how can I get more space on the server?

thank you.

Have you made sure the histories are permanently deleted?  Until they are, they will continue to count against your quota.  See https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Learn/ManagingDatasets#Delete_vs_Delete_Permanently for more details.

I did purge deleted data sets. Only the four files that have come up when I select all history. It still shows 100%

I've recalculated your disk usage and it remains near 250GB.  In addition to purging datasets, make sure you've completely purged old histories that you no longer want.  To do this, go to https://usegalaxy.org/history/list, click "advanced" at the top, and view 'all' histories.  You may see some histories that are deleted, but not deleted permanently.

Thanks Dannon. That allowed me to see where the hidden history's were and are now deleted.

Much appreciated!!
