Question: Unable to connect to Galaxy FTP server

Hi,

I am unable to connect to galaxy FTP server. I gave the host name as usegalaxy.org and provided my galaxy user ID and password it gives me error Response: 530 Login incorrect.

I am using Filezilla client to connect to FTP for usegalaxt.org

Where am I going wrong. The username and password is right

Please help

Hello,

Use your full registered email address instead for the "username" entry in Filezilla. User name in Galaxy is not the same as Username in Filezilla.

Email addresses are case sensitive, so if even that doesn't work the first time, double check how the formatting in Galaxy interprets your email address under "User > Preferences".
