Hello, I have a problem in my storage quota. It shows that I'm using 75% of the storage, but my current history is empty and I deleted permanently all my previous histories. Any idea how to solve this issue? Thanks, Franzi
Hello,
Disk quota can be recalculated by logging off then back in again. This will not resolve your case immediately, but will for some who see the question, so this is the FAQ for how to do that: The account usage quota seems incorrect
Your account has a few larger datasets that are deleted but not permanently deleted. Purge these then recalculate disk usage if needed. This is how to find them: Checking for active vs deleted vs permanently deleted (purged) datasets and histories
For FTP, most people should use the exact same settings that they did previously. The only difference is in accepting the security certificate that pops up. If there is a problem, setting up a more specific connection is possible, but this will sometimes not work if the true root issue is a firewall. Checking in with your local admins to find out about firewalls has been a prior solution. Here is the FAQ for FTP options: Loading Data > Galaxy FTP Upload
