I'm trying to import some public GEO data into usegalaxy.org - specifically, the mouse RNA-seq data from GSE79552. When I go to 'get data', then EBI-SRA, input GSE79552, the search results for mouse RNA-seq do not have a download link (ftp, galaxy, nothing) - whereas I do see SRA files (and can download them) on the NCBI website.

1) So why are only some files from the same study available to be imported via EBI-SRA? Is there anything I can do to rectify this?

2) Is there another way to get the data to usegalaxy? Or must I download all these files individually, then upload them into usegalaxy?

Thanks for any pointers you can provide.

Hello,

To import this data directly into Galaxy (avoiding downloads/uploads), please use the tools under this group instead with the SRA identifiers: NCBI SRA Tools

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
