I am having trouble deleting data to free up space for new tasks to run. When I click the link to delete/permanently delete data there is no response. Is there another way to permanently delete data or a fix to correct this problem?

The problem was corrected by logging out and logging back in

Thanks for posting back. Sometimes large data purging can cause a grid refresh problem in the UI. Doing a hard browser reload (to refresh the page) or logging out/in again can help.

If there is ever a problem with disc size (seems incorrect), logging out/in again will trigger a recalculation. https://galaxyproject.org/support/account-quotas/

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team

Logging out and back in did not solve this problem for me. Any heko would be appreciated! Thanks! Dan

I verified your disk usage at 281.6 GB. Please check your account for contents which you may have deleted but have not 'purged' or permanently deleted, yet.

I have purged everything and anything. I am now down to "empty" on actual data, but Galaxy still showing "100% usage" and "warning you have used all your quota..."

If there is nothing that can be done about this bug, would you mind deleting my account so I can create a new one and start from a clean slate?

Thanks, Dan

Can you go to https://usegalaxy.org/history/list, click 'Advanced Search', then 'status: all', and then ensure every history says 'deleted permanently'?

I just doublechecked your account, and the problem is an old history from 4 days ago that you may have forgotten about. It is deleted, but not deleted permanently, and it contains 59 datasets consuming 254 GB of space.
