Question: What settings should be changed in a deployed standard Galaxy instance with PostgreSQL on the Amazon?

What settings should be changed in a deployed standard Galaxy instance with PostgreSQL on the Amazon? We experience problems with Pilon and several other tools installation via the ToolShed. Only PostgreSQL connection string is new to the initial galaxy.ini, Should we uncomment other settings in the .ini and .xmls files for a production deployment and better performance? Is there any doc and tutorial, please?

From your description, I'm guessing you're just using Amazon as the infrastructure but are installing Galaxy entirely by hand (vs. using CloudMan)? If so, there are detailed instructions on how to setup a production Galaxy server in the documentation, specifically: https://new.galaxyproject.org/admin/config/performance/production-server/
