Hello, I am done with BLASTX against NR and Swiss-Prot database with my non-model plant transcript assembly at the galaxy, but not able to do the mapping and ontology in Blast2go. I have changed the out file of BLASTX to XML format, after loading in Blast2go sequence information is not visible on the table. Am I ned to do some processing of BLASt out file so that it can be easily acceptable in Blast2go programme.Any comments/suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Regards Rahul

Hello,

Blast2go uses either a public site for annotation or locally installed annotation. How to configure this is linked in the tool form's help section. The expected input format is also clarified. Perhaps there is a problem with one or both of these?

This particular tool author will likely offer technical support if contacted. This can be done through the Tool Shed. Log in, go to the tool, and use the upper right menu to select, fill out, and submit your specific problem after reviewing the set-up instructions.

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team
