Question: Tophat jobs not running

Hi,

My tophat jobs are taking a long time to run. I had set up one last night which didn't run. This morning I set up two new jobs and deleted the first one but still nothing is happening. What is the normal waiting time for for a job to begin?

The server is busy right now. Queued jobs shouldn't be deleted and restarted - this just moves the job back to the end of the queue, extending wait time. More about how jobs execute is in the wiki here:

Take care and have patience - jobs rarely queue for longer than 24 hrs. If possible, queue up downstream analysis too, so as processing windows open, your will have your work in the queue.

Yes, this would be the longest wait under normal circumstances. Hopefully goes much quicker! Jen
