Here is the error message I am receiving. Anything I can do about it, or anything that I am doing wrong? Please help. The message is below:

mothur: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_iostreams.so.1.57.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Update: Mothur is working when I use the galaxy instance. It is the main server that is not working.

Just to give more details. I have 96 pairs of fastq files. From that, I create paired collection list. Then I tried running make.contigs. So the error was generated by this command. It should also be noted that when I uploaded Mothur files that I generated using my own laptop, and then tried to run count.seqs, I received the same error message.
EDIT: I tried Mothur on just a pair of fastq files. Same error message. Exit code 127.

Hello Jennifer, Thank you for the update. The program is working. However, I have a different error message now:

"This job was terminated because it used more memory than it was allocated. Please click the bug icon to report this problem if you need help."

I was trying to run the cluster.split command on the dist file. To give you an idea, the dist file is close to 36 GB file. The split command should create smaller dist files. I assume that even the split files could not be loaded to RAM. Any chance the memory could be increased for this run?

Thanks in advance.

This error and input size does indicate the job is running out of resource. I opened a ticket to have the resources for Mothur tools reviewed, please follow progress here: https://github.com/galaxyproject/usegalaxy-playbook/issues/49
