Question: Possible PATH problem when installing tools in a local

Hi,

I am trying to install oqtans into local galaxy. Oqtans_tools folder has a file tool_conf.xml.oqtans. I copied this into the tool conf xml main file....why does it give error ? https://ibb.co/m5CVfv Can someone help ?

It looks as all of the tools not already in the cache failed to load (not just this one, two distinct tool suites in the graphic failed).

  • Are these symbolically linked? Try full paths.
  • Are the paths correct when moved into the master tool_conf.xml? Adjust as needed.
  • Does Galaxy know where to find the target directories? Check the $PATH the Galaxy user is accessing and add as needed.
