Hello, To see your data in the center console of Galaxy, you can click the eye icon associated with that dataset in the history panel. You won't be able to view BAM files in the manner, as they are compressed and not viewable. If you would like to inspect the entries of a BAM file you will need to convert it to SAM format and this file can be visually inspected.

As a new user of Galaxy, I would recommend taking the interactive tours to introduce features and usage of the user interface. These short tours are great for a quick introduction. You can find these tours here: https://usegalaxy.org/tours

Thanks for using Galaxy!
