Question: Ftp uploading keep failing and restarting back

Hi

i am currently uploading my fastq file (5.6gb) using filezilla. My upload keep restarting after a while. Is the problem keep happening because of my connection or the server itself?

Yes, most likely this is the connection. Next time it stalls, reconnect to the Galaxy server and resume the transfer.

Thanks for the reply! i managed to upload file. however, why is my original fastq file size (5.6 gb) is not the same as the uploaded file (5.2 gb)?
