Hi Amy, Can you provide a bit more information regarding how you are sharing your history? Are you on the Main Galaxy server useGalaxy.org)? Did you share the history with individual accounts, or did you publish it?

Thanks Mo. I shared my "Students" history on galaxy with you. I am working on the main galaxy server at usegalaxy.org. I shared the history with individual accounts, did not publish. They can see the history but can not download the data sets in the history. Thanks for your help. Amy

Hi - I found your account and history. Am sharing it with me (same permissions as you have set already for the students you shared with directly) and testing an import to see if problematic. Will unshare from me after the test. Just an FYI in case you see that and wonder what is going on. - Jen, Galaxy team

Have them use "Histories Shared with Me". The history will appear in their list. Then they click on the history name and use "Copy" to move the copy into a history in their account. From there, they have own copy and can manipulate/download datasets (I was able to from the test copy I made).

Thank you! They were not copying the history into their own accounts - I will have them retry with this step included. Much thanks for your help. Amy

Glad worked!

On my side, Imgur is not behaving as usual (they made some UI changes, it seems..). I'll delete the images for now, but will post them back (to help others later) from there or another site.
