Hey all, A Galaxy newbie here. I created an account last week in order to complete a lab for a college genomics course. Unlike my classmates, my data did not load for days (I was using Get Data --> Upload from Computer --> Paste/Fetch).
The sets did not download at all but continuously gave the message "This job is waiting to run".

Eventually my professor shared the datasets with me as a history and they thankfully they opened: One Fastq file, two NarrowPeak files

Then I performed about half of the tasks assigned into the lab (E.g. FASTQC and FASTQ Groomer on a fastq set, converting NarrowPeak files to Bed files).

Over 3 days later, and not a single job has completed.

Is something wrong with my account perhaps? What do you recommend? This is tough because it involves a grade...

Thank you for the help!

Hello,

If using Galaxy at http://usegalaxy.org, then the jobs may have been delayed due to recent cluster issues. I can also let you know that jobs execute in the order submitted. If some are more important than others, run them first. If you are over quota (250 GB), then jobs will be paused, but that doesn't sound like your case and I can't tell what your Galaxy account is from your user name here.

Some help links:

If using another server, contacting the administrators is the best way to find out what is going on.

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team
