Dear Sir., We are going to install Galaxy local server on our Windows PC. Are there any requirements for the hardware, for example the size of CUP or other things, in order to run Galaxy smoothly? Thank you! Xintao

It *may* be possible to run Galaxy on windows, however we do not recommend or support this. Many of the underlying tools will likely not run without a full posix environment. -- jt (composed on my phone)

About this, I have the same question, but about memory and processing requirements. For example, can I install in my computer all necesary tools to make alignments, indel analysis, snps analysis and get partircular segment of, say, 10 bacterial genomes? It is a biolinux PC, with 32Gb RAM, Intel Core i7 3.25GHz x 8 and a hard drive of 2Tb
