Question: Problem uploading file from URL to Galaxy

Hi,

I am having difficulty uploading a file from a URL onto Galaxy. I think Galaxy is not allowing because this file requires a password to download (ie I can go to the URL and then I am prompted for an account name / password). I was wondering if you have a suggestion to upload this file (~20gb) onto Galaxy by telling it the account/password or by another way?

If the file is not accessible without password my approach would be to download it to my machine with my credentials and then upload it to Galaxy via FTP. For details please see https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/FTPUpload
