Hi

I'm trying to visualize my data with Galaxy-installed cummeRbund, following a tutorial instruction provided by RNA-seq informatics lecture. In there, the lecturer showed cummeRbund in Galaxy, but I could not find it. This lecture was done on June 10th. I wonder where I could use cummeRbund in Galaxy.

Was there a change that cummeRbund is no longer available in Galaxy?

Hello,

This tool is in the Tool Shed for use a local or cloud Galaxy.

The repository name is: cummerbund

The workshop/demonstration was almost certainly done with a Cloudman Galaxy (cloud) instance. Installing tools is straightforward through a UI interface and you can start/scale these up as needed, then discard when done, perhaps keeping a permanent/permanent data bucket (S3) at Amazon for ongoing use. Be sure to check out the AWS Grant program to help with Amazon costs (Galaxy is always free, everywhere!).

It is likely that the other tools you were shown are also in the Tool Shed. Some will be in Cloudman by default, others you can add as needed.

Hopefully this helps! Jen, Galaxy team
