Hi,

I create a workflow in local galaxy, and How can I share it to other users who are not logged in?

And how can I add my workflow to left sidebar?

Thanks!

Siyuan

Hello,

These users would not be running the workflow on your local, correct? If true, try these:

  • Galaxy workflows can be exported into a .ga file and that can be given to others. Go to your Workflow list (use the Masthead link "Workflows). The option for "Download" is in the pull-down menu per workflow. Share the file directly. Others can upload it to other Galaxy servers. Missing tools/different tool versions will be reported when they go into the "edit" function.

  • To add a tool to the tool panel so that it isn't nested under all of your workflows (but still be in that lower tool panel section), also go to your Workflow list. There is a box to check on the far right side of the list, one box per workflow, column label "Show in tools panel".

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
