Question: Waiting for Pre.cluster in Mothur

being a new user I'm not sure how long Pre.cluster should run for. I have 27 amplicon sequenced samples and my Pre.cluster has been running since yesterday afternoon around 18 hours. Do I wait for it? or has this been running to long. Thank you

The jobs are in an executing state, so that is a good start. Allow this to run to completion. If you delete and rerun, the queueing/executing processes will start over from the start, extending wait time. The only reason to do that is if you already know there is a problem with the inputs.

Jobs have a variable amount of maximum to execute ("walltime") - sometimes up to 48 hours. https://galaxyproject.org/main/#resouces-available-to-main-site

If the job does end with a failure for some reason, double checking usage is one item and double checking the input content/format is another. Help FAQs for troubleshooting an error: https://galaxyproject.org/support/#troubleshooting
