While using Freebayes for VCF manipulation, I encountered the following error:- "freebayes: error while loading shared libraries: libbz2.so.1.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" The .bam file was obtained using bowtie2 after the paired-end reads were aligned to a reference genome sequence. Please help me out.

Regards, Komal

Hello, I am running some tests to determine if this is a server-side dependency problem with this version of the tool (the most current, 1.1.0.46-0). More feedback soon. Jen

Hello,

This is a new confirmed server-side issue at Galaxy Main https://usegalaxy.org.

A ticket for the correction with full details including the current workaround is here. I credited you for discovering the issue. https://github.com/galaxyproject/usegalaxy-playbook/issues/79

Thank you for reporting the problem! Jen, Galaxy team
