Question: Deseq2 give me sequence instead of gene ID

Hi everyone,

I am using deseq2 to test differential expression from salmon files (TPM) with a reference transcriptome from ncbi (ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/refseq/M_musculus/mRNA_Prot/). The tool works and gave me results but instead of gene ID (NM_**) it gave me all the transcript sequence. So it's difficult to analyse my data. Is there a solution?
