Dear Users,

I want to configure the galaxy in such way that I can run tools/scripts from my command line (Ubuntu 16.04) on the galaxy server (not local). Just like you can ssh to a server with putty, but than with galaxy. Do you guys know if this is possible? And how I can accomplish that?

Searching on the web I already saw that you can register as admin (I have a account on galaxy), but adjusting config/galaxy.ini doesnt seem to work for me either... Do you guys also have a idea how to make this work?

Thanks in advance and I am eager to hear your answers ;D

Currently your best bet is to use an API library to communicate with Galaxy from cli. E.g. bioblend for python. Then you can write a python script and execute it from the cli.
