On a Sequencing Request, when we change the state of our samples to "Data Ready" and click save, an automatic email is sent to the user listed on that a Sequencing Request. How can I modify the content of the automatic email that is sent? Our previous Galaxy Admin left our facility with no instruction on how to change things.

Thank you, Lisa

Hello,

Modify the existing form or create a new form associated with this specific email. Find out which form is currently used, and change it if wanted, by reviewing the Request types.

Log in as admin and find these functions under the Admin menu.

Hello Jen,

Thank you for the directions. I can see where I turn the notification on and off, but how do I modify what the notification email says? I can't find (using ssh of our cluster) the file to modify what the content of what that email says. For example, I know that on our galaxy headnode, I can navigate to a folder "/home/galaxy/galaxy-dist/static" there is a document called "welcome.html" I can modify the html code to display what I'd like the user to see on our galaxy welcome page. I imagine there is a document like that for the email that is sent, but I just can't find anything relevant to "email notification" or anything. Is the "welcome.html" something that is a standard file that the galaxy team made, and we use, or is that something our local IT made? Is there something standard like that for the automatic email notification that I am just not finding? Thanks in advance!
