Question: Galaxy does not recognize tab delimited file after upload

Whenever I upload a tab-delim file (Get Data/Upload File from your computer), even though I can see it is a tab-delim file and upload as "tabular" Galaxy does not see the columns and takes the entire row as column 1 when I use Fasta Manipulation/ Tabular-to-FASTA. I've also tried the FTP option via WinSCP/FTP but am having trouble logging in. When I do get to move the file, it has the same problem as above, the entire row is taken as column 1. I am a new user and not sure what I am doing wrong or how to proceed. Thanks for any help

Can you please share sample of the file? Are you using usegalaxy.org ?

biostar does not accept attachements if you reply by email, please go to Galaxy does not recognize tab delimited file after upload and include your file there
Okay thanks. I uploaded the file. I didn't see any options other than copy paste, so I did that. Please let me know if there is a better way to upload.
