Hello,

Can I do a chromosome alignment or do I need to use other softward like LASTZ, LAST or MUMmer to generate a MAF file that I can then further analyse in Galaxy?

Thanks much,

Henrik

Hello,

As far as I know, the complete process to generate an entire multi-genome alignment, such as what the Conservation track from UCSC represents (and the derivative MAF/Liftover data), has not been converted into a Galaxy workflow. Some tools are wrapped, others have not been.

This has been of interest for some time and others are welcome to comment and/or share more information.

Best, Jen, Galaxy team
