just double checking: - are you editing the right 'galaxy.ini' file - are you logged in with the correct email address

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I think so. I change the name "galaxy.ini.sample" to "galaxy.ini"; and in this "galaxy.int" file, I set the admin_users value to my email address, which seems straightforward.
Did you restart Galaxy after doing that?

...and if you click on "User" in the top panel: is the e-mail after 'logged in as ' really the same you have written in the "galaxy.ini" file?
