I'm a longtime galaxy user but since they updated MACS2, I keep getting the following error: "This job was terminated because it used more memory than it was allocated. Please click the bug icon to report this problem if you need help."

MACS(1) seems to be working fine, so I think the input files are OK.

Has anyone gotten a response from Galaxy regarding MACS2 bugs after their update?

Hello,

The job is now too large to run on the public server at http://usegalaxy.org. You could review parameters/options or use a local/cloud Galaxy server.

Section 2.8 of the Galaxy support wiki explains alternatives for working with data/jobs that exceed the compute resources at http://usegalaxy.org: https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team

Thanks, Jen! It would have been nice to be notified that MACS2 jobs are too large to run, rather than waiting for 3 days to hear back from a bug report ;)
