Happy New Year Everyone!!

I am reaching out to inquire about the use of the MACS2 refinepeak package. Looking through the Galaxy website and the MACS github, I have only been able to find this description, "It is an experimental utility that takes raw read alignments, refines peak summits and gives scores measuring balance of forward- backward tags. Inspired by the SPP pipeline."

  1. Can any of you provide additional insight as to how I can incorporate this package into the analysis of a ChIP-Seq data set?
  2. Can I use it to enhance (or validate) MACS2 callpeak results?
  3. How would the scores output by the package be interpreted?
  4. Is there any additional documentation about this package that I can access?

Thanks!!

This is typically not recommended as it runs the risk of annoying people in both communities.
